lots of random questions
I got a much less interesting Google hit tonight: "picture of Shakira." That's no fun. I much prefer the one about enemas and things.
I went out with Adam tonight, which is always a good time. We went to the park for a while, since it wasn't too cold, and then to the Atlanta Bread Company for some muffin tops. We didn't end up getting said muffin tops, though. Instead we got cinnamon rolls - ugh - bad idea. I'm still feeling ill. I also got a lemon scone, which is to be my breakfast. Yummy. It smells wonderful. I'll probably sniff it between bites. We went to Target so that I could get some Sensodyne (sp?) toothpaste and Adam could get a light for his Gameboy Advance. I wanted the Sensodyne because my teeth have been very sensitive to cold lately. I think it's all the fillings. I ate a popsicle while taking my walk today, and let me tell you, it wasn't easy. I couldn't bite it at all, because no matter what side I tried to chew with, the pain was there. Ow. Bad tooth pain. Hopefully the toothpaste will do its job, though. *crosses fingers*
Ah, this is kind of interesting - Adam's sister's boyfriend proposed to her tonight. At least, he planned to. I can't imagine that his plans changed. You have no idea how cute this is to me. His sister is adorable, and her boyfriend is really nice, and they're so perfect together. It's weird to think of them actually getting married, though, because Meghan (his sister) isn't that much older than I am. Freaky. The cuteness of it all overrides that, though. It's happy.
Blah. I don't feel well, and yet I want to eat a bowl of cereal. I think I just want to eat, actually. I don't know why. I'm not upset, which is usually the cause of it. I'm just... I don't know. I want some food. I may have to remedy this situation.
OH. I know why I want food. My period started tonight. Mystery solved.
I'm bored, so I'm going to answer some questions. These are stolen from Pseudomuffin, who stole them from someone else.
What section of a bookstore would I find you in? Hmm. New Age/Magickal Studies, Sexuality, Literature (fiction), History (Asian), magazines. I wander around a lot.
Sleep nekkid or no? Why? Not at my house. I wish. My door is defective and it doesn't stay shut (another story all together), so sleeping naked would pose the risk of flashing my family. Which would be bad. Very bad.
What's under your bed? The floor. My bed is on the floor.
What's the best gift you've ever received? A bright red magnetic lamp that Adam made for me. I love it.
What's the worst? Umm... I get a lot of junk from relatives. Up until I turned 18, my aunt would get me a horribly ugly sweat suit every christmas. Thank god the days of having to pretend that I love them are over.
If you had an entire worry- and obligation-free day, what would you do with it? Find a genie and wish for a magic wallet that, every time I opened it, would produce a fresh hundred dollar bill. That done, I'd run to Borders and buy all the books/cds/movies that I've been coveting but can't afford. And then I'd gather up all of my friends (yeah, all six of them) and go out to eat somewhere. Lots of dessert-ordering would ensue, since I'm taking "worry-free" to mean that none of this would adversely affect my stomach pudge. Then I'd rent the bowling alley for the afternoon and we'd have "rock n' bowl" in the middle of the day. With good music for once. After bowling, I'd send everyone but Adam away. Numerous bouts of hot, passionate sex would follow, compete with whipped cream and handcuffs. Oh yeah. Then I'd have sleep time with him, and it would be splendid, because sleeping with him is my favorite thing ever.
What's your favorite kind (potato/tortilla/corn) and flavor of chip? Sour cream and onion, specifically the Pringles variety but anything will do. Yum.
Name five things around your computer: Empty Gatorade bottle (orange flavor), a box of Band-Aids, a gazillion CDs, cough drops (Halls), a phone.
What book that you've read would you most like to see adapted into a movie? Women of the Silk.
What's your favorite dessert? Applebee's apple crisp or their chocolate glacier or Rascal's Snickers pie. And lots more. I love dessert. I think it's my favorite part of a meal. This would, of course, explain my excess weight.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Lots of things. A journalist, an archaeologist, a fire fighter, a ballerina, a baseball player, a singer. The first two more frequently than the rest.
What is the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Oh dear. A strawberry NutriGrain bar dipped in melted cheese? Yeah, I used to eat that for lunch during my freshman year of high school. It's actually not half bad.
What cologne or perfume do you like best on the opposite sex? OLD SPICE. I love love love the smell of original old spice more than anything. I even bought the cologne for Adam. Mmmmm! *drools*
What one smell can you not stomach? Most wet cat food.
What smell do you like that others might consider weird? Kaluha (sp?). I don't drink, but this stuff just smells really good. Like coffee and chocolate milk.
What are the stories behind some of your [physical] scars? When I was little (maybe 8) I hit my chin on the edge of a swimming pool and bit through my lower lip. Well, I bit through the area under my lower lip. There are two white-ish teeth marks there even now. I have one on my right pointer finger from 7th grade wood shop. I didn't get along well with the jigsaw. There's a big nasty scar on my right calf from shaving - I seriously skinned myself. I also have a dark scar on my left knee from falling on a piece of glass.
Yeah... okay. Enough of that. I'm getting bored. Time for some cereal and some SSX Tricky.
