really wishing for a functioning voodoo doll
Emily is here. Emily should not be here. It's Wednesday - she has a 12 o' clock class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Dammit, go to class! She didn't go to her 8 o' clock class this morning, either, although I don't even know if she still has that. She hasn't gone in weeks. Argh... whatever. Just go ahead and deprive me of the four seconds of alone time that I get three times a week, bitch.
Anyway. It's windy like a mofo outside. It's cold to begin with (21 degrees), but when you add in the non-stop 20 to 50 mile per hour gusts of wind the temperature drops down to a very unpleasant 5 degrees. Single digits again - woo. The universe just isn't large enough to contain my excitement.
Adam's Valentine's Day present arrived today - I just have to trek over to the college center to pick it up. It was there when we went to lunch, but I didn't know it because they called and left a message with Emily. Who wasn't supposed to be here. So basically, if she'd gotten off her ass and gone to class I wouldn't have to be blown around like a rag doll for an extra ten minutes or so. Fucker. The universe is also not large enough to contain how much I hate this girl.
I used my new strawberry shampoo and conditioner this morning - it was quite yummilicious. I want to sniff my hair with wild abandon, but alas, they'd trap me in a straight jacket and commit me to a home for mentally unwell hair sniffers. Also, it's kind of painful to sniff your own hair for long periods of time.
Dammit, again with the slow connection. 6.2 kb/s? That's just sad. And really freaking annoying, but such is my entire life at this school. They demand your soul as tuition, stick you with an irritating, faux-goth roommate who apparently doesn't even leave to go to the bathroom, and then hook you up to the internet on this pathetic excuse for a T1 connection so that you go crazy and deteriorate into a drooling, mindless minion of their devious "higher education" cult. Yeah. See, I know what's going on around here.
New Angel tonight. More Angelus is always a good time. And he kills someone, which is fun, although it's not really all that fun because the person he kills is not Pod-Cordelia. Seriously, what did they do to her? She used to be so much fun. Rumor has it that she's evil, but aren't evil people supposed to be more entertaining? Angelus is way more enthralling than Angel. Evil Spike was light years more amusing to watch than Souled Spike. Granted, Evil Willow was just... bad in that nausea-inducing kind of way, but she's the exception more than the rule, I think. So what gives? If Cordelia is evil, dammit, show me the snark. Make with the mocking, taunting, and generally entertaining opposition to the good guys. Do it now.
I should probably reserve judgment until after I see the episode, though, right? That would be the correct thing to do.
Hey, would you look at that - this entry went and got all long on me. As such, I think it's time to end things. I have important Buffy things to download and a package to pick up, after all.
Ciao.
