Paris made me change my number
Today was good times all around. I woke up too late, dropped off my rent check, and went to the Fabric Outlet with Cassie, where we proceeded to fondle things and buy lots of buttons. We were hounded by this overbearing saleslady who thought we were trying to shove bits of trim inside our coats or something. A lady was waiting in line to buy fur as we checked out and I reaaaally wanted to punch her in the face. I didn't. But I really, really wanted to.
Cassie and I came back here, and she read about Paris Hilton's Sidekick scandal while I made my world-famous oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. So good. And very easy to veganize, too. We watched Wonderfalls and ate cookies and then I threw together a dinner of pasta and garlic bread, which Cassie declared the best garlic bread in the world.
I love cooking for people. If it weren't for my lax cleaning habits, I'd make the best housewife EVAR.
After American Idol (which pretty much blew), Justin came over and we watched Saw and Eurotrip, two completely dissimilar but very awesome movies that I definitely will be adding to my collection at some point. After the movies I drove them home, 'cause it would've been really mean to make them walk at 12:30 in the morning. And now I am here, updating. Exciting!
As much fun as today was, I got absolutely nothing done. Which sucks. Tomorrow I am definitely going to call the Salvation Army about my application, and I'd like to pick up a paper if I can scrounge up the change. Except I don't know what the weekday classifieds are like, so maybe it wouldn't be worth it. In any case... must be more productive tomorrow.
Anyway, there's a book calling me. 'Til next time - eat a cookie. Eat several cookies, even. Just submit to the cookie. It's futile to resist.
