what... are you, exactly? oh, thanks.
Ho hum. Had a rather interesting evening. Joe, Adam, and I went to see Kate Clinton perform at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Harrisburg - she's a lesbian comedian. Very funny. I was reluctant to go, because I really wanted to spend the evening alone with Adam, but I sort of promised Joe. So off we went. It was fun, though. We were a few rows in front of the most annoying people ever - this guy kept hooting and screaming and yelling out comments, and the chick next to him had a really screechy, obnoxious laugh. No good. Still, it was cool. I'd go again. After that, we went to Dunkin Donuts to kill some time. We each got two donuts (two boston creme in my case, yum yum), which made me a bit ill. Ugh. While we were there, this guy that Joe and I knew from high school came in. He was a fun kid; he sat next to me in Psychology and went with me to take pictures in a graveyard when I didn't want to go alone. Joe talked to him for a bit, but I didn't. I don't think he recognized me.
Oh. While at the show in Harrisburg, we saw this... person. No amount of analysis or speculation could determine the gender of this person. It had long hair in a low ponytail, earrings in both ears, and a female-looking necklace. It was dressed all in black, complete with turtleneck so the adam's apple wasn't visible. The face of this creature was pure man. However, he had breasts. Not fat-man breasts, either, because it was thin; these were chick breasts. And it was wearing a bra. You could see the lines through the turtleneck. It also had a bulge in its pants. We never heard it speak, though I'm not sure that would have done much good. In any case, it was freakish and I am still confused. Man? Woman? It. I shall continue to call this person an "it."
This was a big gay community event or something, so we played a lot of that game. "Guess That Gender," I'll call it. There were some close calls, but none so mysterious as the creature described above. No, that will haunt me forever. Forever and a day, even.
*yawn* I must go to bed. I'm going with Joe and some of his friends to a Hare Krishna temple in some town called Port Royal tomorrow. I was sort of iffy about attending, because I don't really like to meet new people (I don't know the other people who are going), but I figure that I have nothing better to do. It should be interesting. Adam might come, too, which would make me a happy bunny. I hope he does. He's going to give me a call in the morning and let me know what's going on. *crosses fingers* I hope I hope I hope.
Anyway. Sleep time. G'night.
