new stuff... and stuff...
It's not even 11 o' clock and I've been up and awake for almost two hours. Amazing. This unprecedented early rising is due to the fact that Adam has to work this morning, and since he slept over I just got up when he did. I haven't showered or anything yet, but I have done a bit of diary tweaking. I added a page devoted to tracking the amusing Google hits that I get, I added the little calendar thingy over there below the navigational stuff, I deleted a bunch of old drawings, and I added two new ones. And I knitted a bit. It's been a rather productive two hours, I think.
Speaking of knitting, you know you want to see how far the scarf has come in the last few days. Yeah you do.
I'm currently working on stripe #5, which is red. I'm only 4 rows into it, but I'm taking it home with me tonight so hopefully I'll at least make a dent. Today is dog-sitting day, as you can tell from checking the handy dandy calendar. My parents went to a jazz festival someplace, and since Mason isn't too good with the animal care I've been called in. Adam and I are going to take the Gamecube and possibly the DVD player and spend the afternoon and evening playing Zelda and lavishing the various animals with affection. I wanted to take Buddy swimming this weekend, but as it's not even 40 degrees outside I'm thinking that's a no go. Boo. I'll need to scrounge whatever money I can from the couch cushions and get some canned food at the grocery store, because the stuff that my mom buys seriously pushes my vomit button. It's disgusting, and I will not give it to my pets. What she feeds them is her deal, but when it's my job they get stuff that may actually contain real meat.
More exciting than Zelda or taking care of the dog and kitties, though, is the fact that we may actually have some privacy for the first time since freaking spring break ended. Jesus christ, the lack of sex here is just unacceptable. It's insanity. Having a roommate who never leaves isn't really good for the sex life. But at home I actually have my own room, so I anticipate much behind-closed-doors activity. Yum.
Anyway... I need to shower soon if I don't want to get dressed in a bathroom stall, so I'm off to do that. I doubt I'll update later, what with not having a computer at home, so have a good day and stuff. I'll be back tomorrow.
