hey grandma, need a new dildo?
Argh. I called Friendly's corporate office this morning, as directed, and was told to call back on Monday when the payroll people will be in. Taxes have to be in the mail by Monday. If I may make an observation... this sucks.
I have to roll change in order to get some gas later. I figure that the gas station attendant would rather have a nice roll of quarters than a handful of dimes. My grandmother called earlier, asking how I like my job. I informed her that I no longer have my job. She asked what happened, but I just said that I didn't want to talk about it, because discussing my three-day stint at the porn shop with my grandma would be a little uncomfortable. I'm not sure she even knew exactly where I worked. I assume not, because I doubt she would have been so cheery if she had. Blah.
I weighed myself this morning. It's Saturday, you know. Saturday is, for lack of a term that doesn't rhyme, "weigh day." Gained a pound. I can't fathom how. I haven't gorged myself on junk food or anything this week. I've been very good, actually, and I still gained a pound. Briefly considered suicide. Okay, not really, but it was rather depressing. What I did really consider was hurling the goddamn scale out the window, but I don't have a window in my bathroom. There's a skylight, but chances are that if I threw the scale at the skylight it was just bounce off and knock me unconscious, so... I just kicked it a little bit. Harumph.
Otherwise, things are all right, I guess. I'm wearing The Best Underwear Ever (tm) and listening to Pink. Heh. Somehow I never thought I'd be saying that. It's good, though. Very butt-shake inducing.
It's only 11:30 and I've already updated 3 times today. I believe that is an accurate depiction of my abundance of free time.
(Happy 310th entry to me. I totally missed 300. Boo.)
edited 1:55 p.m. My tax refund came today. Woo! $161.63. Not really much, but I haven't had that much money at one time since November. Now I just have to try and keep some of it... eep.
