for some reason the word "schnoz" comes to mind
Okay, so I'm listening to this album made in part by one of the members of Rilo Kiley. It's pretty good... not as good as RK, but very little is. But I discovered, during my web travels, that this guy (Blake Sennett, in case you care) used to be on
Salute Your Shorts. Dude! I watched that show. It rocked. He was also in an episode of Buffy (season 3 - "Gingerbread) as a goth witch named Michael. My, my, but aren't things just all connected?
In less pleasant TV-related news, it appears that the WB has gone insane. They cancelled Angel, one of its highest-rated shows and the only one that increased its ratings share this season, and despite critical outcry and one of the largest, most insistent fan-driven "Save [insert show here]" campaigns EVER, it remains cancelled. But they've apparently green-lighted some sitcom atrocity starring Fran Drescher and the girl who plays Iris on Joan (a.k.a. Mini Fran Drescher). THE NANNY AND IRIS ARE GETTING A SHOW TOGETHER WHILE ANGEL HAS BEEN PREMATURELY DUSTED. Someone please kill me. Television has gone entirely to hell.
But I guess if you're deaf the Nanny/Iris show could be okay. That has to be their target audience, right? Because no one with working ears would voluntarily listen to The Nanny and Iris squeak and squawk through 30 minutes of sitcom-grade dialogue, right? RIGHT?
There is no god. I'm certain of this. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go paint some mugs. Ugh.
