a vehicular observation
Okay, question: Does no one just drive a regular little car anymore? Because I was driving my grandma around this afternoon, and I swear to god 75% of the vehicles on the road were pickup trucks, SUVs, or vans. And that's not counting 18-wheelers or construction vehicles (both of which are all too common in these parts). It's really freaking me out.
Also, are people who drive trucks, SUVs, and vans just naturally assy or do these vehicles turn otherwise decent people in incredibly inconsiderate dickheads? Because seriously, every time someone is riding my ass, or cutting out in front of me, or neglecting to use their turn signals, it's one of these three. Usually a pickup truck. I'm just predisposed to dislike people in pickup trucks. Mother Teresa could drive past me in a ghostly pickup truck, throwing candy and flowers, and I'd still be annoyed with her. It's just a thing.
