no rusty nails for this girl
This is going to be quick, because I'm really freaking tired. I almost drove off the road way too many times on the way home because I couldn't stay awake. I have a problem with that. Falling asleep in the car, I mean. Anyway. I went to the doctor this afternoon and I had to get two shots - tetanus and diphtheria. Apparently I was about 5 years overdue for a tetanus shot, but if I recall correctly I've never impaled myself with a rusty object, so no matter. That bitch hurt, though. The diphtheria shot was nothing, just a sting, but the tetanus pinched and burned like a mofo. I also haven't had my third hepatitis B vaccine, but it's not required by LVC so you know what? Fuck that. Same with meningitis. If it's not necessary, I'm not getting it. Nope, sorry. If I happen to contract one of these diseases then yes, I will hate myself for not getting the damn vaccine, but the chances of that are rather low and that I do enjoy needles or pain or things being injected into me is a certainty. So there.
After the doctor, I went to Adam's. We hung out in his room for a while, went to eat, then went to the concert. It was good. Great, even. It's amazing to me that B.B. King is 76 years old and still touring. He's funny and endearing and very charismatic; musicianship aside, he's just a wonderful performer. But then, the fact that he's an incredibly talented musician really can't be pushed aside, so forget what I said and include it. Heh. Adam was so cute. He was all excited and into it. He didn't stop smiling the whole time; it was almost enough to bring me to tears. Good tears, though - seeing him happy makes me happy, so happy that I could just burst. Mmm. Yes. I'm so glad we're back to normal. I love that boy so much it's almost insane.
Well, I guess this hasn't really been all that quick. Alas. Goodnight, all.
