One more class. 50 minutes of "learning" and "intellectual stimulation" stand between me and the gloriousness that is never having to attend a class on this campus ever again. Because finals aren't classes, you see. They're big tests that you take and then you leave. And then you're done. I'm all about being done, so this works out well.
There's a floor meeting tonight to discuss "closing down procedures," but I doubt I will be in attendance. It's at 9:30, and at 9:30 I will be doing something much more important than sitting in a room with a bunch of stupid teenage girls who manage to lower my already rock-bottom faith in humanity every time they open their mouths. Specifically, I'll be in the middle of watching the second to last episode of Angel. The penultimate episode, if you will. It simply can't be missed. I'm sure you understand.
I get to meet with Dean Yuhas tomorrow and tell her why I'm leaving. Oh, where to start? Adam had his meeting today, and he was pretty honest about everything. I'm not sure I even want to get into it, because my list of grievances is approximately the length of Chile. And while it's true that I don't have anything to do tomorrow afternoon, I'd rather not spend it in her office explaining exactly why this place makes me so hideously miserable. It's this thing I have where I don't particularly enjoy sharing my feelings, especially with complete strangers who will undoubtedly try to convince me to stay here despite my maddening hatred of the place. Seriously, she was ready to give Adam a single room and a private jet. Funny how all you have to do to get special treatment is threaten to leave (and take your $30,000 a year with you).
Anyhow - class time. I'll update later with even more fascinating tidbits, and possible pictures of knitted things. I know everyone wants to see the fetus hat, after all.
Ciao.
