it's a pee addendum
Oh, lovely. Here I was, all happy that I don't have class here ever again and ready to go to bed and sleep for a very long time... and Goth Boy comes over. Apparently Emily thinks that it's okay for him to basically LIVE HERE every night, when in reality it is not okay in any way. It's so freaking far from okay that it's not okay in a dead demon language. They have the TV turned up so loud that you can hear it at the end of the hallway, and I get to try to sleep with it on. And I get to hear them suck face and giggle and then I get to wake up to the stench of unwashed Mansonette! God, I love my life.
No, actually, I pretty much hate it. Sarcasm, you see. It's a thing.
I took some motion sickness pills this afternoon before Adam and I headed home to do some stuff. They worked, but someone needs to clarify the concept of drowsiness for me. Since when does "may cause drowsiness" mean "will definitely cause wretched, debilitating fatigue that will leave you incapable of anything but senseless babble about liver spots and leaning your head against the car window and praying to the gods for bedtime?" Because seriously? Not fun. I won't be taking those again when I plan to riding in a car to any event which I would like to stay awake or vaguely coherent for. So basically I will never be taking them again. Note to self: next time, go for the little bottle of NON-DROWSY Dramamine.
I got a new cookbook, though. The Garden of Vegan, which is the follow-up to How It All Vegan. It's muy excellente, and I'll probably try some of the recipes when I get home. I also have another cookbook on the way, ordered from Half.com. Yes, I have a sickness. I don't deny it.
Wow, I'm the Typo Queen tonight. So far I've misspelled drowsy (dorwsy) and deny (nedy), which may not seem like much, but to a stickler such as myself it's pretty disturbing. I'm still kind of out of it from the drowsy pills, though, so all is forgiven.
And now I'm going to bed. Mmm, sleep. I love sleep. Too bad I'm not going to be able to get any until Mr. and Mrs. Inconsiderate turn off the TV. Which is to say that I won't get any at all.
Bleh. 'Night.
