good morning diaryland
It's a really ungodly hour to be up on a Sunday, but here I am. I fell asleep in Mason's room last night, watching FoodTV. I got up at 7:30 in the morning for no discernable reason, and I feel too awake to go back to bed. Alas. It's really nice out, though, so maybe I'll run down to the bank and try to cash my check, and then, if that's successful - off to the gym with my food-loving ass. If not, well, I can always come home and go running/walking back on the trail. Take advantage of the prettiness and what have you. I'd like to borrow my mom's kayak and go out to Memorial Lake, but it seems like such a waste to go by myself, you know? Besides, if the kayak flips and capsizes, I'll drown and no one will know for days and days, and by the time they find my body I'll be so water-logged that I'll look like the Stay-Puft (sp?) Marshmallow Man's little sister. And that would be bad.
I'm never hungry when I wake up. Aren't you supposed to be? I mean, you've been without food for hours - more than 8, in my case. Under normal, waking circumstances, I'd be starving. But I'm not at all. Hmm. Weird.
Not much to write about just yet, as all I've done is wash my face, brush my teeth, and feed the cats. So exciting. I'm going to putz around here for a while and then go to the bank. Huzzah.
