attack of the killer early morning hours
Do not adjust your monitors - I am indeed awake. Showered and dressed, too. I've even had breakfast. All of this could be very disturbing if you know me at all, but fear not. I haven't been replaced by a super-efficient pod person or brainwashed by the second coming of the early-rising Nazis. No, nothing like that. Adam slept over last night, and since he works today we had to get up at (ugh) 6 o' clock. I don't actually mind, though, because having him over was the most extreme happy ever in the entire known or suspected universe. Indeed.
We spent most of the evening working on my disgustingly crowded and disorganized bedroom, and now you can actually see the carpet. It's amazing. There's still a bit to do - clean some things off, set some things up, put some things in boxes, etc - but it's crazy what one night of work can do. Hopefully I can get my mom to go shopping for various room things tonight. I need a closet rod thingy to hang clothes on, a corkboard, and one of those clear stacked drawer things. I also need to hang the rest of my shelves, but that can wait until someone more competent at putting nails into the wall than myself comes along. Like Adam. I have a feeling that much messiness would result if I tried to do it myself. Me + hammer = bad.
I've been poking around HACC's website, trying to pick out some potential classes before I head over this afternoon. Trouble is, the class directory thing is nine kinds of NOT WORKING.
Ooh! Now it is. Score. I need to go do that now. Cheers.
