I don't think I have the organizational skills to run five companies
I went to bed at quarter to 5; it is therefore entirely too early for me to be awake. Nine o' clock would be even more disturbingly early, and that's when I got out of bed. The dog was pacing around my room like perhaps he had to pee, so I let him out into the yard. At 9 o' clock in the morning. He didn't have any doggie business to do, either, so it was al for naught. I couldn't go back to sleep, though, so I've just been putzing around since then. My parents left for the beach this morning, and Mason is staying at Adam's this weekend. I am of course referring to my brother Adam, not my personal Adam. I have a feeling that it's going to be a very lonely weekend, unfortunately. Just me and the animals, most of whom keep to themselves unless they want food or attention. Buddy isn't even up here right now - he's in the living room, mourning the temporary loss of my mother.
I think I want to make burritos tonight. Possibly a lot of burritos, so that I can eat them all weekend. Mmm, burritos. A trip to the grocery store is definitely in order.
The dog is downstairs barking his head off... I think maybe the mailman is here. I'm always freaked out when I hear him barking, because I'm convinced that someone is going to break in and kill me. I wouldn't hear them, you know. My attic room is somewhat isolated.
Grumble grumble. The hunger is setting in. We don't have any good cereal, though. We have Bisquick mix stuff, but I don't like pancakes and we don't have a waffle iron. Oatmeal takes too long. Yes, I am very lazy. It's a flaw that will presently cause me to eat stale Corn Pops and a cookie for breakfast.
I'll leave you with some cuteness to help get you through the morning:
There are some very scenic places around here. I may go back to this particular location this weekend if it's nice out and take pictures with my actual camera.
