Patrick Stewart with lead you to your destiny
Ugh. I'm all sniffly and sneezing my brains out and my throat feels like someone went at it with sandpaper while I was distracted. I don't feel sick, per se, but I do feel rather like crap. Which is always lovely. Figures I'd catch something during the balmy days of August instead of the dead of winter.
On a lighter note, I got to see an episode of Buffy that I've never seen before. That's nothing too surprising, because I haven't seen most of them, but this is also the first time I've ever caught it on TV. It was one from season six, so it took me a little while to figure out what was going on. Because you know, I'm stuck back at lowly season two. Grrr. It was much fun, though. The whole Spike and Buffy fucking all over the place thing kind of weirded me out at first, but hey, I'm good with that. I can't blame her - Spike's mighty hot for a dead guy. And he's way more interesting than Angel, who I think I liked better when he was evil. The whole brooding thing just gets annoying after a while. It's appealing in that way where I'm a sappy, romantic chick and it tugs at my delicate heartstrings, but still. Spike and the Slayer is just so much more fun.
Heh. Listen to me. I need to stop or I'm going to end up swapping homemade stakes at a convention somewhere. Or worse yet, sewing up my very own Star Trek crew member uniform and rubbing elbows with the High Holy Order of Nerds as they await the mother ship. Fun!
Nah. I'm okay with this. My inner geek and I are on peaceful terms.
Okay, sleep is becoming something that I need to do. Soon. Now, even. G'night.
