I've got Spongebob wrapped around my finger, yo
I got up this morning at 6:30, gathered my shower stuff and headed to the bathroom (which is conveniently located directly across the hall, about 2 feet away) expecting relative peace. Because, you know, there are little curtain dividers, but still. Alas. I was foiled. Someone explain to me why there are so many people in the bathroom/showers at 6:30 in the morning. Please. Because that's just wrong. If I didn't have class at 8, I certainly wouldn't be showering so early. And I know that not everyone on this floor has an 8 o' clock class, so... yeah. Anyway. Moving right along.
Yesterday, I paper-cut (can that be used as a verb?) myself with some very thick cardboard. Ow. It still hurts. I have a Spongebob band-aid on it, though, so all is well. I love fun band-aids. If I made a list of things that I love, fun band-aids would be someplace near the top. After Adam, chocolate, books, pianos, darkrooms, animals, amusing thrift-store t-shirts, sleeping, animated movies, asian kids (anything asian, actually, but the little girls... with the bangs... aww (!)... so much cuter than other kids), Buffy, singing (even though I can't), tarot cards, decoupaging things like fishbowls and notebooks, getting mail (especially unexpected cards), and bunches of other things. Okay, so maybe fun band-aids aren't that close to the top, but hey. They still make me happy.
I have two things to do between 11 and 12. One is class, from 11-11:50. The other is this financial aid whatsit, which I need to somehow squeeze in from 11:50-12:00. I think I may have to just do it at 11 and be a little late for class. Grr. This would be easier if they (meaning the Perkins Loan people) were there for more than one hour.
Well then. I'm going to visit Adam at work for a while before that stuff needs to be done. I'll write later.
