you're a chapter, I'm a page
Google hit o' the entry: "girl with banana in the mouth." And it was a Spanish search, too. Geh.
Anyway. It's Sunday. Where the hell has the weekend gone? Ah, that's right, I spent it in bed with Adam. *grins* Yay. He stayed here last night, too. We went to Wal-Mart for batteries, headphones, Pamprin (death to cramps), and Super Monkey Ball 2. We ended up getting the first three, plus a bunch of candy and a portable Scrabble set (!). No SMB2, though. It looks fun, but Mario Sunshine is far from finished. We came back here and watched Good Eats and Iron Chef, and then went to bed, for we were tired. Him more so than myself, but I'm good with cuddling in bed anytime, so it was okay.
And while I'm sort of on the subject of video games, I want the Buffy game. Too bad it's for the Xbox, and not only can I not afford an Xbox, but I don't even know anyone with an Xbox. Well, Charlie, but he's 8. So no. Grr. That pisses me off. I'm going to kidnap Bill Gates and Joss Whedon and set them both straight. Bill, you need to give me some money. You're too damn rich. A few million out of the pocket wouldn't even make a nick in your fortune. And Joss, yo, Buffy was better when it had your undivided attention. Then you went off to work on Angel and god only knows what else, and while I do still love it, I must say that's its quality has declined steeply. See what happens when you let other people write your show?
Ahem. Anyway. It is now 1:26 in the afternoon. Between that paragraph and the one before it, I went to lunch with Adam, played some Mario Sunshine, and ate a cookie. Adam's mom is here now, visiting, and she came bearing cookies. Lots of cookies. So I got half, which is fine with me, because cookies are yummy and nice. But now I'm back in my room, and typing one-handed. Yes, it's true, I am in fact eating a popsicle. Hubba hubba. And now I'm done, because about five minutes has elapsed since I typed "Hubba hubba." Yeah. I find it odd that if you put something in the area under the freezer, it freezes, but if you actually put something in the freezer, it stays all soft and gushy. Explain.
I got this interesting little email today:
"hi schatz,
hier die Adresse. meld dich wenn du wieder da bist
http://xbunny.funurl.com
kuss
Julia"
I made no corrections. That's how it came. That's the sort of crap that I get at my Hotmail accounts. Grr. Argh. It's amusing, and yet so irritating that it's not amusing at all.
All right, well, I'm going to either work on some homework or continue to putz around online until Adam comes to fetch me for Statistics homework hell. Cheers.
