something something something yay god
I started a new English paper, and it is not going well. I got off to a good start, but my ability to write coherently has been petering out since about 4 o' clock. Grr. I've got under a page finished. Once I enlarge the font and double-space it, it'll be maybe two pages. Not enough, even in the very vaguest sense of the word. Why is this so frickin' hard? Someone explain, please, because it's just not right. I'm not a bad writer. I know I'm not. I'm just all... stuffed up, inspiration-wise. And I'm having a wacky memory black-out thing that isn't helping much, either.
But I got Rufus tickets. So that's a plus. (Lisa, I'll get you some concert goodie if there's anything worth getting, I promise.)
Am I the only person who uses parenthesis to hold entire sentences? Because I know that's not really grammatically correct, but hey. I sort of use it to imply a conspiratorial whisper. Or just a whisper. Either way.
Hmm. Oh, yes. The mystery gift that Adam got me is the new Ani CD, So Much Shouting, So Much Laughter. It hasn't come yet (dammit), but I dragged it out of him by saying "Je suis grumpy" until he made a word scramble that contained the answer. Yes, we are a strange pair.
Back to the proverbial salt mines.
