yummy new music makes my day
Woo! My mystery present from Adam came this afternoon. I'm listening to it right now, and... yay. Happiness.
In not-so-happy news, I spilled a very full glass of Mr. Pibb all over myself at lunch. Way to go, me. I do such a good job making myself look like a complete spaz. It's amazing, really.
Bah. Stupid soda. But anyway, yes, this CD is excellent. It makes me want to be all good at playing the guitar, but alas, I'm still a clumsy amateur. It also makes me want to see her in concert, which I could do if I didn't have classes in the morning. The concert in PA is on a weeknight, you see. There's one or two in NY, I think, on weekends, but I think they're already sold out. I tried to search for tickets on Ticketmaster and it told me that they didn't have the amount or type that I specified. And since I asked for 2 tickets in the best available sections, I'm guessing there are none left.
My English conference is in half an hour. I'm sort of nervous. My paper is done, but frankly, I hate it. It sounds forced and fake because, oh, it is. Grr. Hopefully she won't criticize it too much. I don't particularly deal well with that, which is why I don't really show people my writing. And yeah, it's just an essay for class, but still. It's all somewhat personal, no matter why it's written.
I wish I could just skip it (and the nasty Statistics test that comes right after) and lay in bed and listen to Ani. Aaah. Over two hours of musical goodness to soothe my weary little mind. Adam rocks for getting me this. Well, he rocks just in general, for being who he is, but getting two disks of Ani in the mail after spilling soda all over myself constitutes a special kind of rockitude.
Hey, I just made up a word. Fun.
