cash for kids would be a very nice arrangement...
I experienced a miracle today. My Drawing class was actually - gasp! - fun and interesting. I was really very sad when it ended. We were doing ink washes again, and mine was coming along fairly well for someone who has never had anything but tragic accidents when attempting to paint. And Professor McFlighty loved it! She got all excited, saying that it was "exquisite" and that I'm "a natural" and a "future watercolor painter." I'm not so sure about that, but it's always nice to be praised. And since this is pretty much the only thing I've earned accolades for thus far this semester, I was both shocked and eating it up with a spoon.
Anthro consisted of kinship charts. Bilateral, Bilateral Generational, and two Bifurcate somethings... Iroquoian and Sudanese. Confusing as they can be, I love me some kinship charts. Also, we studied all of this in my Anthro class last year at LVC, so it's not new and especially difficult. Other cultures are so much more interesting than mine. Obviously. America is fairly culture-less, after all.
New Angel tonight - will you be watching? Probably not (infidels!), but I know I will. Adam too, unless he wants to skip it and work on his massive load of homework instead. Which I would totally understand. I talked to him a few minutes ago, and he seemed... not good. That makes me very sad indeed.
Anyway. Mason is pestering me to let him use the internet, and in the interest of preserving my sanity and his physical well-being I'm going to do just that. I think I'll work on something for Creative Writing. Hopefully. I'm having major writing issues lately.
Ciao, all.
