things that will send me to hell
According to one of the lovely tests at
Emode.com, my deadly sin is SLOTH. Ha! Big surprise there, eh? I'm the laziest person ever. After that would probably come GLUTTONY, because lately I've been sucking up food like a vacuum cleaner. It's really quite foul and I should stop it, but for some reason I can't. Well, I
can, but I don't. I think it's just because I'm bored. I don't have anything to do all day, and so I just putz around my house and eat, eat, eat myself sick. And then when I actually do go out, I usually end up at a restaurant anyway. When eating out, I am powerless. Things always taste better when you don't make them yourself. Even seeing the food prepared, like I did at Friendly's, does nothing to dull the temptation. I know perfectly well what goes on in the kitchen at that place, but I still eat there all the time. It's the onion dippers that lure me in. And the cheese quesadillas. And the stir-fry, hold the chicken. Mmmmm. *drools*
Okay, I need to stop that. No more talk of food. I finished The Golden Compass, and it rocks so hardcore that I'm getting antsy waiting for the next book. Adam's going to give it to me on Friday, because it's at his mom's house. Until then I'll have to stave off my fanatical desire to start something new, because I don't want to interrupt the series. I dug my big Eloise book out of the car, though, so that should satisfy me for a while. I'm a sucker for a good kiddie lit.
Meh. I'm tired. G'night.
