presents, pie, and a lion cat
This is going to be short, because I find myself becoming uncharacteristically sleepy. Possibly because of a pie overdose, though I can't confirm that until further research is conducted. Like eating more pie, and observing the effects.
No! Bad Amanda! No more pie. No more anything. You are much too fat, and conducting experiments to determine to sleep-inducing properties of pie will do nothing to remedy that situation. So stop it. Stop it now, as Adam would say (except I can't type the funny voice in which he says it, so it loses its pizzazz).
Anyway, yeah, tired. Adam and I went to Joe's for a present exchange deal, which went okay except for the fact that the cookbook I got for Joe is one that he already has. D'oh! I felt really bad. I'm not sure if I can return it, either, because I'm pretty sure I threw away the receipt. I'm rather positive, actually. So that blows. It means I'm going to have to spend some of my Christmas money (as in money that I am getting as a gift) on something else for Joe, and I don't have the slightest clue what. Funnily enough, I have a million ideas for things I could buy Adam, but he's not the one I need to buy for. It's tempting, though. I just have to keep telling myself that his birthday is at the end of January, and so I need to refrain from excessive Christmas present buying so that I can have something to give him then. But it's very hard. I want to give him millions of things, heaps and heaps of presents in pretty wrapping paper. Must... not... buy... more... presents. Agh.
The other day I said that my Rufus kitty reminds me of a little black and white lion. True. Observe:
See? He has a mane and everything. Cute little lion cat. He's sleeping in the bathroom right now, all sprawled out and comfy. Mmmrawwwr.
Ick. My face feels all "greasy not fun," so to speak. I believe a thorough washing is in order. Onward, bathroom soldier. Conquer the grease with nothing more than soap and water and you shall be made a legendary hero. The Face Wash Warrior. Or something.
'Night.
