watch as I descend into a purchasing frenzy
I should be in bed. And I will be, as soon as I manage to tear myself away from the various and sundry online purchases that I'm considering. I did all of my add/drop stuff today, and decided not to take Encountering World Religions, which cut the number of books I needed to purchase down to... two. In addition to the two that I bought the other day. There's one other book, but I already have it, so no extra bills must be expended. Yep, that's right: I only had to buy four books, totaling less than $200. Adam, on the other hand, got shafted in a horrifying painful way. He has something like twenty books, and nine of them are for one class. NINE BOOKS for ONE CLASS. Someone please explain to me why that's even allowed. But anyhoo, the reduction in required books allowed me to save lots and lots of money, which I am now spending at a horrific rate.
I'm really bad at saving money. It's just this thing that I can't do. Of course, part of it could be that I have no income to save, so when I do happen to get my hands on some money all I want to do it buy things. Mmm, things. How I love thee. So far I've purchased (online) two hats that make me happier than hats ever should and a t-shirt. I got some things while Adam and I were out, too, like shower gel and chapstick and a largeish stuffed zebra and the cutest little stuffed rottweiler ever. Adam bought me a largeish stuffed lion to go with my zebra - weee! I got him a present, also, because I'm devious and evil. He can't see have it yet, though. Mwahaha. Before I go to bed I will be purchasing (also online) two DVDs and yummy red lip gloss. I was going to get Adam some Pearl Jam albums on vinyl, but the only place I could find them informed me that all of the ones I wanted are currently on backorder. So. I'll just have to find something else, then.
Eh, actually, no lip gloss for me. It's $10, plus $5.25 for shipping. I'm pretty sure I can find it someplace around here if I look hard enough; I refuse to pay over half the price of the product for shipping. Bah.
This song is so addicting. I've been listening to it on repeat for the last hour and a half. Psychotic.
12:14. Must sleep. Adieu.
