girls just want to have fun
Today I baked two cakes, went to class, and played Karoake Revolution with Cassie and Justin. The cake bit was fun, as there was taste-testing involved. Cake A won by a landslide and will be used as Adam's official birthday cake come Saturday. The class bit was so boring that it's really sort of impressive. Nonwester Art, anyway. I got to read "Make Way For Ducklings" in Children's Lit, which was fun times. Love that book. Love ducks.
Karoake Revolution was quite an experience. As you may or may not know, I am not so good with singing in front of people. It makes me all sweaty and shakey and nervous with the cottony mouth and post-marathon heart rate. I seriously thought I was going to vomit. But I didn't, which is an commplishment in and of itself. And it was fun! Real, live fun. Amazing. I did pretty well for my first time, I think, although singing songs that you don't know most of the words to? Is not really a very good idea, especially if you're so nervous you might pee yourself at any moment. But in all, a very fun time. Cassie's rats are the cutest things ever.
Right now I'm going to put on my PJs and read for a while, 'cause I've got a few pages of one book left and I just started another one this afternoon because I'm very impatient.
Mmm, books.
Anyway - goodnight, all. I shall see you again on the morrow.
