I've been kicked offline every 12 minutes for the last two hours. AOL owes me a fucking car for being this damn annoying.
I'm in a crafty mood, but I won't be making anything. My sewing machine is in its plastic box, my supplies are all in another plastic box, and I have no floor space of which to speak. So while I have plenty of ideas, I don't really have the means to get any of them done. I'm working on a knitted hat, but pshaw. I want to make a purse. I'll need to purchase fabric for it at some point, and as such it will likely remain in its idea state for the rest of my life. I also want to make fun little curtain things for my windows, decoupage my white cabinet, knit arm warmers, and bunches of other things that I won't get to do because I'm dirt poor and can't get my hands on twenty bucks or a few pairs of jeans that actually fit even though my mom and Mason just got new (and mighty expensive) shoes this afternoon. And Mason is still (STILL!) getting birthday presents, two months after his actual birthday. I'm like the neglected stepchild who lives in the attic and has to eat scraps because no one loves them. Oh, wait. Minus the stepchild part, that's my life. Woo-fucking-hoo.
Joe gifted me with a truckload of movies tonight. VHS, but still fun. Lots of Disney movies, which excites the pants off of me, as well as various and sundry others. Like Mannequin! I love that movie, even though it's incredibly 80's and I'm generally not a fan of anything from the 80's except the cartoons and toys.
Did you know that Seth Green was the voice of Chris Griffin, the son in "Family Guy?" Because I would never have suspected.
There is something so wrong with my internet connection that it stopped being funny before it even started happening. I keep getting the "Cannot Find Server" error EVERY TIME I attempt to access a page. Any page. Grr, argh. I'm going to get offline now, before I'm driven to hurl this damn computer out the window. Please ignore the fact that no part of my computer, save perhaps the speakers, would actually fit through the window.
Le sigh. G'night.
