I don't vant you to suck my blood
Oh MAN, with the hot. According to AOL, it is 75 degrees out. According to the speed at which my flesh is boiling, my room is something like 275. It's really ridiculous - being up here is like bathing in my own sweat. Blech.
Slept over at Adam's last night. It was grrreat, as usual. My period is disrupting the general sleepover activities - grr, argh - but we make due. I just love being able to wake up next to him... it's very definitely a happy thing. We had to get up ungodly early so that he could got to work, which is why I'm writing here before noon. Wacky. I'm meeting him for lunch at 12:30, and then stopping at Joann Fabrics to get material for the bag I want to make. Hopefully I can get that done before I have to pick up the blueberry (Abigail - one of my nieces, whom I have been contracted to watch for a few hours) at 4. She's a cutie, and pretty harmless as children go, so I'm almost looking forward to babysitting. I call her "the blueberry" because she reminds me of one. She's little and round and adorable. She was dressed up as Snow White for her first Halloween, and that blue dress really helped perpetuate the nickname.
Ew. I had a tick on my arm last night. Disgusting little vampire bugs. I don't understand why I've has FOUR ticks on me in the last months or so. It's not like I'm going out and rolling around naked in tall grass. I do generally have clothes on when I walk the dog, also. So am I just extra delicious, like a gourmet meal for ticks or something? Because I think maybe I need to work on being less attractive to the insects of the world.
Ho hum. Today is my brother Adam's birthday, so I'm going to give him a call in a little while. He's 24 today, which is just So. Fucking. Scary. You know why? Because it means I'll be turning 20 soon, and that, my friends, is more disturbing than you know.
Oh my god. My dog just made the weirdest noise I have ever heard come out of a living creature. And he's barking at me for some reason, which is no good at all. Stop being a freak, Buddy. Go downstairs and bark at mom.
Anyway... I'm going to go spend some quality time with Illustrator. My trial version will expire in a few days, and oh, the sadness.
Cheers.
(Yes, I know this is the only CD I ever listen to. It's just that good.)
