I want a mullet-headed military Sim of my very own
Iron Chef USA makes me sad. It's somehow tackier than the very tacky original, but it's that sort of tacky that isn't charming in any way. Wacky Asian tack is fun and amusing and oddly captivating; American tack is just... well, tacky. Unpleasantly so. And I shan't be watching it again, no sir. Food Network, how could you fail me like this?
Also, my sewing machine is a demon. I'm fairly close to finishing Joe's tarot bags, but I can't actually get there until my sewing machine stops being a mammoth poohead. Grr. I really don't want to hand-sew these bastards.
I love me some Orange Slice. And it occurs to me as I say that that all of my favorite sodas are brightly colored non-colas. Mountain Dew, Mello Yellow, Orange Slice... yep. I do enjoy bright colors. Not blue, though. Blue beverages and food items are just unnatural and bad.
Giles was in a cat-fight last night, and now he's all beat up. Poor kitty... he has a cut on the main pad of his front right paw, and another on his tummy. He's limping pretty heavily right now, and if I had my way he would be set up on the cushy sofa with a bowl of cream and a little hot water bottle for his paw. But alas, he seems to think that one of the kitchen chairs would be more conducive to recovery.
I need sleep.
